This popular campground and park has about two miles of unpaved hiking trails that you can explore with your dog. These trails go through picturesque forest and along the stunning Elk Lake. Bring some water and doggy bags with you, and have a pawesome time hiking here. Located 13 miles from Williamsburg, this dog park has two fenced areas, one for large dogs and one for small dogs. Both areas have grassy fields for your dog to run around on, and doggy bags are available. There are no water fountains in the dog park, but there is a hose nearby you can use to fill your pup’s bowl. If your dog is a good boy or girl at the dog park, reward them with a delicious treat from Dog Bakery. This bakery offers 20 flavors of natural dog biscuits, including mint, apple, and cheese. Your pup will love sinking their teeth into one of these treats!

This dog park is 18 miles from Williamsburg, and it has separate fenced-in areas for large and small dogs. Within each area, you’ll find grassy fields and groves of trees that help keep the park shady and cool. Water is also available for your dog within the dog park. If playing in the dog park makes you and your pup hungry, grab lunch at Mulligan’s Pub and Grill. Sit at one of their six dog-friendly outdoor tables, and enjoy stuffed burgers filled with cheese and bacon, as well as salads, sandwiches, and more.
