If you are visiting Independence with your furry friend, check in to the pawsome Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham in town and feel at home with your pooch. Here you are welcome to bring two beloved companions with you to stay, as long as they weigh up to 40 lbs. This will only cost a small additional fee per night. All rooms are air conditioned and have cable television, as well as other amenities on site, including a restaurant, internet access and laundry room. What’s more, you can leave your canine unattended, if you need to pop out and run errands.

There are dog waste stations that provide waste bags, which means that you can help keep Independence Dog Park clean and tidy if you furgot your own. Just be sure to bring some fresh water for your panting pup when it is hot and sunny outside!
