Every canine loves a trip to the park, which means you have got to visit Glenwood Park when you are in Parsons! Here you can let your pooch have a ball out on the grass, as well as on the sniff-tastic trails. Other pawsome amenities include frisbee golf, a kid’s playground, shelters, basketball court and restrooms. If you need somewhere to stay when you are visiting the puptown of Parsons, choose the Sleep Inn & Suites. Here you are welcome to bring two beloved companions with you weighing up to 20 lbs for only a small additional fee per night.

Orchard Park
When you are in Parsons, be sure to enjoy a visit to Prairie West Park with your furry friend! This is a pawsome place in town where you can bring your canine to exercise and enjoy some playtime since it has three acres of green space. There are two ponds here with the oppawtunity to fish, as well as watch the ducks and geese that live at Prairie West Park. There is a walking path that you can follow, plus some picnic tables so that you can bring a treat and have a day of fun with your furry friend. Don’t forget to bring some fresh water for your panting pup and dog waste bags.

Queens Rd/ U.S. Route 160
One of the best places to bring your pooch for some playtime has got to be Marvel Park in Parsons! Here you can wander around the sniff-tastic walking trails with your furry friend and enjoy some exercise, as well as use the amenities that are here during the day. This includes baseball fields and a football field. In addition, this is where the Parsons Dog Park is located, which has a separate area for small and large pups, and is all fenced in so you can let your canine off leash. There are dog toys and water available, plus an agility station and picnic shelters.

W 4th St/ N Warren St
For a furrific day out with your furry friend, head on over to the puptown of Pittsburg! This pawsome place is not far from Parsons and is home to Lakeside Park where your canine can have a ball. Here there is green grass for your pooch, and you can stretch your legs and burn some energy around the sniff-tastic walking path that winds around the park and alongside the lake. There are also other puptastic amenities here that you can use during the day, including tennis courts, a playground for the kids and picnic tables for enjoying a treat.
N Michigan St/ E 20th St
To let your beloved companion enjoy some exercise, jump in the car and head to Pittsburg, a puptown not far away from Parsons. Here you can bring your pup to Dermus Park, which is a furrific green spot in town that doggos will love! This pawsome place has expansive open grassy areas, which means that you can enjoy playing fetch with your canine. There is a baseball field that your pup can romp on between games, as well as restrooms. While the trees here provide some shade, be sure to bring some water for your furry friend when it is hot!
