The quiet and cozy park resides in the neighborhood of Woodlawn, which became popular more than 100 years ago. Although the park was built in the late 1960s, it still offers updated terrain, playground, and sitting area to enjoy today. The park is primarily made from an asphalt and woodchip terrain, with grassy areas along the edges of the park. At the center of the park, there's a nice large playground that is otherwise off-limits to pups.
The best part for dogs at this park is a small path that surrounds the park, allowing you and Fido to walk along a small .2-mile path that connects to a dog-friendly sitting area with three benches, grass, and an open concrete lot to play in. Additionally, you'll find trash bins, swings, and a climbing wall. The park is mostly fenced in, but still has openings, so its best to keep Fido on a leash at all times. Remember to bring some water and clean-up bags for your pup before you head out to this neighborhood outdoor area.
The Arnita Young Boswell Park is a dog-friendly option for large and small pups, and provides plenty of amenities and walking space to enjoy and get outside with your furry pal.
