With over 23 acres of land, Foster Park is a multi-purpose park that has been around for nearly 100 years. The old age of the park has not worn its look though, as the community of Auburn Gresham comes together annually to take care of and clean up the park. You can enjoy all the woofderfulness this park has to offer after parking in the central parking lot or along one of the roads that surround the area. After getting out and leashing up Fido properly, you can enjoy the nearly full park that offers recreational fields, acres of shade and trees, and restrooms on the north end of the park.
Trees surround the perimeter of the park and along the .4-mile paved trail that loops around the southern half of the area, surrounding 4 baseball diamonds. After walking along the path, exploring the northern half of the park will provide you and Fido access to enclosed tennis courts that allow pups, a quiet playground, open space to run around and play in, water fountains, benches, a running track, trash bins, and clean-up stations for Fido around the parking lot. While walking along the paved loops of the park, you can even watch kids play in a small water park where pups are not allowed.
There number of things to do and amenities to enjoy are numerous at Foster Park and whether you walk your pup or spend the day out playing, this park boasts a friendly community for humans and pups alike.
