Lots of fun for you and your pup are waiting for you at the John P. Wilson Park in the city of Chicago, Illinois. Fido will enjoy some outdoor time and you will have just as much fun being with your furry friend while taking a break from your regular routine.
You will easily find this park in the Bridgeport Community where on-street parking is plentiful. Or head over on foot if you are in the area. You will need their leash, so clip it on their collar and get going!
Since the 1930’s, this park has been a pawtastic place to take your pup friend for a walk or hang out underneath the shade of the many mature trees on site. The landscaped grounds will provide Fido with plenty of opportunities to roll or romp in the grass, and the park benches will give you a bit of a break after following them around on their outdoor exploration. The wide paths are perfectly suited for any pup-ability and are a joy to walk on as they meander throughout the park’s almost 2 acres.
Other John P. Wilson Park features include a fieldhouse which is used as a community gathering place for after-school activities, and an outdoor playground that is tops on any children’s list to play with their friends. Its water spray fountain offers a nice reprieve from the hot Chicago summers. Restrooms are located inside the fieldhouse, but seasonal drinking fountains outside provide a cool drink of water during the summer months. Bring a bowl for your pup's convenience, and water in the colder months, as well as clean up bags.
Take care and enjoy being with your pup-tastic friend any time of the year at the John P. Wilson Park in the lovely city of Chicago.
