Centrally located directly next to the Von Stueben High School and the North Park College and Seminary, you won't have any trouble finding this pawsitively awesome recreational area. Whether two-legged or four-legged, all members of the fam are welcome at Kiwanis Park though the two-legged variety doesn't need a leash! Chicago does have strict leash laws, so you'll want to keep Fido on a lead at all times to stay on the fur-iendly side of the pawlice.
Walking along the river isn't the only thing you can look forward to at Kiwanis Park, as pawrific as it is! You will find a small grass area where picnicking is the name of the game. You won't want to forget your camera as the naturally landscaped property is a furrific sight to behold and would be the pawrfect place to snap some family photos. Also found on the grounds is a turf playing field where you can play some frisbee, toss a ball around, or even take on a game of baseball or soccer with the fam. Before you head off on the adventure of the day, you'll want to pack a bag which includes all of the pawrific things you might need for your day of fun including bottled water, a snack or two, and some cleanup bags. Pick up a city dog license, and you're ready to go!
For a day of fun in a doggone great spot, plan to stop by Kiwanis Park. People and their pooches both agree it's a terrierific place!
