Need a new place to walk your beloved pet? Look no further! Kemble Park is a pawsome community green space that your furry friend will go mutts over! Not only is it a great place for an afternoon stroll, it has some historical ties. It was named after Fanny Kemble, a 19th century actress, writer, and abolitionist that lived across the street from the park.
Start your visit to the park with some laps around the
paved walking paths. Your pooch will love strutting their stuff through the
property and greeting new friends with a little tail wag. Since the sidewalk cuts through the fields,
your furry friend may even catch a glimpse of a pick up game or two. Wander up to the
northwest corner of the park and let your pal check out the gardens. They can
stop and smell the flowers or paws for a rest at one of the benches. There’s also a
sizeable grove of trees in the middle of the park that your canine companion
can explore. They can put their nose to the ground and search out the pawfect
stick!
Two legged park visitors can make use of the basketball
courts and multipurpose fields. There are also plenty of shade trees for relaxing
under, so bring a blanket and let your pup pick out a good spot. The park plays
host to special events throughout the year. Check the calendar and find one
your pup can attend. They will love mixing it up with the locals!
Before leaving your house, be sure to grab a coupe clean
up bags. Do your part to keep the park smelling fresh by stooping and scooping
when necessary. Your doggo would also be most grateful if you had some cold
water on hand. Make no mistake, a walk through this park will make your pooch
one happy hound!
