This 6 acre rectangular property offers a woofderful space to enjoy some greenery, catch up with the neighbors and their dogs, or pass through on your morning walk with Fido. The park is surrounded by large, scenic houses and located near the college campus. McMichael Park is family and puppy friendly, but be mindful of the fast paced traffic on Henry Avenue.
Some of the furtastic features in the park include a war memorial, and a turtle statue. There is also a wide variety of trees and open grassy areas, that are not only pleasing to the eyes, but great for puppy playtime. There are benches throughout the park as well where you can sit back with your best pal and enjoy the natural surroundings. There are picnic spaces here too, so why not bring along your lunch and stay a while?
At McMichael Park, you’ll be able to see some neighborhood pride in action and enjoy a sense of community. The park is known for being pristine and well kept. There are even local community events held here throughout the year, and your pupper is welcome to join in on those too! Some of these events include flea markets, outdoor movies, christmas carolling, and shakespeare theater.
