Activity description
While many dogs are endurance runners, others prefer to get their exercise in quick bursts of energy. You may already know that your American Bullador is the type that likes to go fast and go quickly, then take a break! Keeping this in mind, it is not a great idea to bring your American Bullador on a long run as they won’t fare well. Setting up some quick, short activities where your dog can run fast and get out energy in their preferred manner will benefit you and your dog. Be ready to get out some bursts of energy yourself as you may want to play alongside your pup!
Step
1
Fast fetch
Fast fetch is a perfect way to help your dog run. Grab two tennis balls and throw the first one to your dog. When they retrieve it, immediately throw the next ball. Keep your dog running by throwing one ball and then the next one. When your pup gets tired, they will simply lie down to indicate that they are done!
Step
2
Track race
Bring your dog to a local track that is fenced in completely so that your dog can be off the leash. Start at the starting line of the track and sprint, with your dog by your side, to the first hundred yard line (one quarter of the track). Walk to the next hundred line and then sprint another hundred yards. Running in short bursts will excite your dog and be exactly their pace.
Step
3
Remote car
Grab a remote controlled car for your dog to chase around. Start the car and have it drive forward quickly for your dog to run after. Stop it whenever you feel like your dog needs a break. Start it again when they are ready to go! This is the perfect indoor running game for your American Bullador.

Activity description
American Bulladors can be very protective of their families which can be a great trait but also detrimental in certain scenarios. While you may like your dog to be protective at times, you want them to be in your control all of the time. Practicing meeting new people is a great way to keep your dog friendly in situations that may be a little out of their comfort zone. You can still teach your dog to protect you and your family if you’d like but if you want to curb any aggression, it is a good idea to train them from a young age to be friendly and accepting of new people.
Step
1
Family friends
Invite family members over to meet your dog. Start by having just one person come over at a time so that your dog grows accustomed to new people coming to the door. Then, have your family come to the door two at a time to introduce your dog to the idea of multiple people visiting. Work your way up until your dog is excited to see any number of guests at your door.
Step
2
Dog friends
Bring your dog to a local dog park to introduce them to other dogs. A dog park is a perfect place to meet friends as it is fenced in, allowing the dogs to run and act naturally in a safe space. Your American Bullador will love being able to play with other pups and this play will help them be well adjusted around other dogs.
Step
3
Kid friends
Make sure your American Bullador is comfortable around children by allowing them around young kids rather than shielding them from kids. The first several times your American Bullador meets a small child, make sure they are on a leash and under complete control. Eventually, your dog will grow accustomed to kids and the quick and awkward way they move, making them less scary and just fun!

Activity description
This game was designed for intelligent dogs in mind which completely describes your American Bullador! This activity requires a good amount of training which is ideal for a smart dog. Dogs who are intelligent need just as much mental stimulation as physical activity in order to stay happy and healthy. While this game is not very difficult, it does require patience and listening on your dog's part - two skills that will benefit them in day to day life. Once your dog has perfected this game, you can play it anytime and also use it to your advantage when you need your dog to be quiet or still.
Step
1
Be still
Have your American Bullador sit and stay and then walk in a full circle around them while they do not move a muscle. While this may seem simple, you will be surprised how your dog tries to turn to face you as you walk behind them. The idea is not to move!
Step
2
Create space
Once you can walk in a full circle around your dog statue, take a few steps away and then walk in a circle. The more distance you put between you and your dog, the harder it will be for them to not move. Try to have your dog not even look at you but look straight (place a treat in front of them so they are occupied by the sight of the treat rather than you).
Step
3
Statue
As your dog gets better at sitting still, introduce the word “statue” as the action they are doing. Then, if you ever need your pup to be still, you will simply have to say “statue” and they should sit and stare straight ahead. It may seem simple, but being a statue is very challenging for a dog and takes a lot of mental practice!

Freeze Tag

Chase your American Bullador around the yard and when you tap them, have them freeze. Once you say go, they can run again. This quick running game uses their body and their mind making it a perfect game for this breed.

Hide and Seek

Hide in your house while your dog waits in the other room then call them by name once. As your American Bullador is a scent dog by nature, they will use their nose to frantically find you!

Conclusion

American Bulladors have a great deal of energy that they love to let out in quick play sessions. All of the games here are fast and fun, making sure your dog gets the most fun while their stamina is high. All of these activities will also exercise their brain, making sure your dog is keeping up on their inherent ability to learn lots of new tricks and skills.
