We don't think it's much of a stretch to suggest that you and your Neo Bull oughta warm up before playing on a slanted hill; getting limbered up and making sure that your blood's flowing is a great way to avoid cramping up when things get intense. This step won't take you very long either - about a good five to ten minutes of stretching and light jogging on even ground will help you out a ton later on.

These are the kinds of activities that are easy on the knees - or at least your knees in some cases. Playing frisbee, walking, and playing fetch are all activities where you won't have to do much running or jumping if you don't want to. Your dog will likely do all of that good stuff, but Neo Bulls were built for the rough and tumble life.

Despite what the name might imply, low impact activities refer to any kind of sport or game where at least one of your feet is off the ground at any given time - causing that foot to come back down to the ground hard as a result. We're talking about running, jump squatting, cartwheeling, and sprinting. You and your dog will be so sore if you try some of these activities out on an incline, but you'll have burned so much fat as a result.

For a lot of you out there, we imagine the first time you've heard about a weighted dog vest may have been when we mentioned it in the description of this activity. There's no shame in setting aside some extra time so that you and your dog can get used to the equipment you've just got for your American Neo Bull. First, get your willing pup used to wearing the vest around the house a little while each day.

That's kind of the operating principle when it comes to handling heavy workout equipment in general; don't try to have your dog pull or carry weight that's really heavy from the get go. Instead, start off light and gradually increase the weight your dog's working out with over time. Once your pup has accepted the vest, gradually add weight gradually to a reasonable level so that they can get used to the extra poundage with each exercise session.

Agility training obstacle courses are usually set up by hand and consist of multiple different activities that dogs are to try and run through as quickly, and with as few mistakes, as possible. Teach your dog to run over low hurdles or set up a row of weave poles and have them slowly follow you through the line until they get the idea.

We've found that it helps to figure out which particular aspect of agility training your dog struggles with so that you can zero in on it during training; if you learn that your dog has trouble jumping through hoops, you can help them improve in that area by solely practicing with hoops for about a week's time.
