Activity description
Bullsky Mastiffs take on a lot of traits from their Husky background. One of these traits is that they need to get a decent amount of exercise every day. You can exercise your Bullsky Mastiff in a wide variety of ways but one of the best and most efficient is to just let that pup run! Running will burn off any excess energy your Bullsky Mastiff may have and also trigger their Husky DNA, making them focus on the task at hand. Running your Bullsky Mastiff is essentially free and, while sunny days are best for runs, you can really let your dog run anytime they'd like!
Step
1
Run together
While some breeds of dogs do not do well running long distances, Bullsky Mastiffs make great distance running partners. If you are an avid runner or just looking to do a few miles, your dog will benefit greatly from tagging along. With great endurance and also speed, you will love running with your Bullsky Mastiff by your side.
Step
2
Wide open spaces
There is nothing quite like running through an open field, no leash to hold you back...that is how your Bullsky Mastiff feels and the reason you should find a large fenced in area where they can run freely. If your yard is fenced in, perfect! Otherwise look for places like enclosed school tracks and big dog parks to let your Bullsky Mastiff loose.
Step
3
Indoor run
When the weather is bad but your Bullsky Mastiff still needs to run, take your dog right to the top of your stairwell to get some good exercise. Toss a tennis ball down the stairs and have your pup retrieve it. Then, do it again! Give your dog a treat after each stair rep to keep them motivated and moving. This is sure to tire out even the most energetic Bullsky Mastiff.

Treats
Activity description
Bullsky Mastiffs do not come from a long line of scent dogs so while they still have great noses, they are not as attuned to the smells of the air like some other breeds. However, the Bullsky Mastiff hybrid absolutely loves to play games and "find the treat' is a perfect one to play. This game is especially great as you can change it every time you play, hiding your dogs treat in a new spot. Playing "find the treat" will only cost you a few dog treats and can be done regardless of weather as it is best played inside!
Step
1
Sniff and stay
Grab a bunch of your Bullsky Mastiff's favorite treats and then have your dog sit and stay. Let them sniff the treats so that they are familiar with the scent. Remind your dog to stay (Bullsky Mastiffs don't always want to listen!) and then, while your dog is in one room, retreat to the other room to hide the treats.
Step
2
Where to hide
The first few times you play this game with your Bullsky Mastiff, you may want to make the treats easy to find. Place them on the ground near the leg of a chair or in a window sill that is at your dog's height level. Once your pup is used to playing the game, you can make the hiding spot more challenging, maybe hiding the treats on top of a dresser where your dog can just reach them or under a pile of clothes so they really have to sniff.
Step
3
Time to search
Return to your waiting Bullsky Mastiff and show them your empty hands. Ask your dog "where are the treats" and see if they immediately start sniffing the ground and air, looking for their prize. Your Bullsky Mastiff may need a little help the first few time you play but once they learn the game, it will be one of their favorite pastimes!

Activity description
Huskies have long been used as sled dogs, pulling heavy loads through cold arctic temperatures with ease and grace. Pulling a sled is not only in your Bullsky Mastiff's blood but it is also something that this powerful breed of dog will be great at. With the Husky's ability to run and withstand the cold and the Bullmastiff's sheer strength, the Bullsky Mastiff is primed to be an ideal sled puller. This activity can take a while to teach your dog and the initial investment may be high but it is all well worth the cost when your dog is happy and healthy! Of course, you will need cold weather and some snow for this activity!
Step
1
Harness
Part of the sled dog equipment is a fitted sled harness which your Bullsky Mastiff will need to wear. Once you purchase one that fits your dog well, let your dog wear it around the house to get used to the feel of the harness. The more your pup wears the harness, the more comfortable they will be when it is time to hook it up to the sled.
Step
2
Light load
Bring your Bullsky Mastiff outside with their harness on and attach the harness to the dog sled. Do not put any weight on the sled but just let your dog run around freely with the sled. Coax your Bullsky Mastiff forward using treats and praise, also focusing on words like "mush" to make them go. Add a little weight at a time until your Bullsky Mastiff is able to pull weight equal to yours.
Step
3
Go for a ride
After significant training, you will be ready for your Bullsky Mastiff to take you for a ride. Hop on the dog sled and then command your dog to move forward. The Husky part of your dog will become focused on their job and ready to pull you forward. Your Bullsky Mastiff will benefit greatly from this fun form of exercise and you will also get to go on an exhilarating dog sled ride anytime you'd like! Everyone wins!

Skatejoring

Skatejoring is a great way to use those Siberian Husky sled pulling genes when there is no snow on the ground. Fit your Bullsky Mastiff to a harness and train them to pull you along on a skateboard!

Leash Training

Bullsky Mastiffs are known to pull a lot when walked on a leash - it is in their nature to pull you along! Train your dog to heal and walk by your side rather than pulling ahead. This is a fun activity (use a lot of treats!) and it is useful in everyday life.

Conclusion

Bullsky Mastiffs are a powerhouse of a breed, displaying strength, stamina and agility in everything they do. If you love an active dog and aren't intimidated by the size of a dog, then this breed is perfect for you. Make time to try some of these activities with your Bullsky Mastiff because while they may be big work dogs, they are also loving, cuddle-worthy pups who greatly enjoy spending time with their favorite person - you!
