Introduction

A French Bulldog and a Jack Russell Terrier are two very different dogs. Yet, when they are bred together, you get a very happy and lovable French Bull Jack! Since French Bulldogs tend to be a little lazy and Jack Russell Terriers are known to be very high energy, the activity level of your dog may sway from very low to extremely high. With that being said, it is good to have some games on hand, ready to go whenever your dog gets that burst of energy.

Activity description
One thing is true about French Bull Jacks and that is that they love their owners. This breed is very attached to their family and craves attention constantly. This trait stems from both parent breeds which means that it is something that won't change in your pup! While it is nice to have a dog that needs you by their side, it can be difficult for your dog when you need to go away. Rather than leave your pup alone, take them with you! A field trip with your dog can be done anytime, regardless of weather and can be as inexpensive or costly as you'd like depending on where your adventure takes you.
Step
1
Lunch date
Find a dog-friendly restaurant near you where you and your pup can go out for a quick bite to eat. See if there is outdoor seating where your French Bull Jack can relax in the sunshine with a nice cold bowl of water. Check if there is a doggy menu and order your pup a treat as well. Just being out in the world together will be enough to make your dog smile.
Step
2
Pet store perks
Many pet stores welcome dogs inside and encourage dog owners to bring their pups shopping. Let your French Bull Jack trot right into the store and have a sniff around. Maybe their nose will lead them to a new treat they like or those low bins of toys may be targeted, your pup pulling out a new squeaky toy to bring home.
Step
3
Stroll the streets
Drive to a new town with your dog and take a walk down a cute main street, checking out the shops as you walk. Or, bring your pup to the neighborhood where you grew up and take a walk around. Have a place you have always wanted to visit? Bring your dog along too! You and your French Bull Jack can go for walks anywhere and the new sights and smells will excite your pup just as much as you.

Activity description
So you know that your French Bull Jack does not like to be left alone. They can be destructive, chewing on furniture, peeing on rugs and tearing apart your home in a desperate attempt to make you come back. As much as you may want to be with your dog all day, it is likely not possible. However, if you can't be there in person, you can be there in another sense - inside a camera! Doggy cameras are growing more and more common and while they are a little on the expensive side, they will help you keep an eye on your pup year round.
Step
1
Purchase
Look in to different doggy cameras to see which one you like the best and which type will fit your needs as well as your budget. Many cameras have the ability for you to talk to your dog through the camera's app which is ideal. You also may like the cameras which allow you to give your dog a treat despite being far away.
Step
2
Set up
Set up your new doggy camera in a place where your dog tends to spend most of their time. If your French Bull Jack loves the couch, point the camera toward the couch. If they stand by the front door when you leave, place the camera there. If your camera allows you to dispense treats to your dog, fill it up with your pup's favorites. Download the camera app and make sure it works and you can see your dog right on your smartphone through the camera's lens.
Step
3
Leave but still play
Once you leave the house, check the camera and see what your French Bull Jack is up to. Use the intercom function to talk to your dog through the camera and see how they react. Press the button to give them a treat and watch as they get super excited. Give them commands through the camera and see if they listen. While you aren't physically with your pup, this is as good as it gets when you need to be away.

Activity description
The Jack Russell Terrier side of your dog will need a lot of physical exercise in order to stay healthy and happy. The French Bulldog side will need a good amount of mental stimulation as well. Those two needs will be met when you teach your French Bull Jack to play flyball. This very active sport combines jumping, fetching and treats - what more could your pup need! It is best to play flyball when it is sunny and your pup doesn't mind being outside. It can be a little pricey to purchase real flyball equipment but your dog is sure to love the game, making it worth the investment.
Step
1
Hurdles
The first part of flyball is jumping hurdles, which should be a breeze for your French Bull Jack. Coax your dog over a hurdle by blocking both sides so your pup can't go around and calling them forward with treats. Once they are able to jump one hurdle, set several up in a row and train them to leap them all.
Step
2
Flyball box
Set up a flyball box with a tennis ball inside. Show your dog how, when pressed in the right spot, the flyballl box will release the tennis ball for your dog to catch. Practice having your dog pounce on the flyball box and catch the ball. This is something they will likely take to right away as this breed loves playing with tennis balls!
Step
3
Play flyball
Set up the hurdles in front of the flyball box and have your dog jump over each hurdle, jump on the flyball box, grab the tennis ball and head back over the hurdles. See how quickly your dog can run the course. If they seem to have a natural flyball ability, look for local competitions where they can really test their skills.
