Activities For King Pins

The King Pin is surprisingly easy to maintain, believe it or not. These dogs do not shed as often as other dog breeds, probably due to their Miniature Pinscher side. They also have short fur, which results in easier maintenance, and less headache for you. However, you do need to groom your pupper once in a while to keep them looking fresh and clean, just like that Outkast song says. One thing to keep in mind when it comes to grooming is your King Pin's ears. They need to stay dry and clean because they are folded, and moisture can lead to bacteria growth.

Since the King Pin is a hybrid, that means that they inherit their parents’ activity levels. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is a moderately active pup, and the Miniature Pinscher is an activity machine, so that means that the King Pin will also be a relatively active pupper. One thing to keep in mind is that your King Pin is quite small, which means that they can get cold fast, so in rainy or cold weather, opt to go to the indoor dog center or playground to provide some fun and exercise.

When the rain is falling, and the outside world just is not acceptable to you and your little munchkin, you can still have loads of fun inside! Your pupper requires activity to stay happy, and if you do not provide it, they can ransack the apartment just to keep themselves entertained. Gather their toys, some treats, maybe re-arrange your pillows and furniture to make tunnels and obstacles and let your hair down! Just be careful not to break anything and to not hurt yourselves in the process!
