Many dogs, both large and small, genuinely appreciate the activity. However, bubble fetch is well-suited to a little dog who doesn't want to run a long distance and carry back a large object. Plus, Maltipoms are notorious for loving the 'fetch' aspect of a game, but they are not big on the 'retrieve' part of the activity.
