Prepare for unexpected vet bills
Hi, fellow gamer! Had enough of Fortnite for today? Are you tired of being the best on your Counter Strike server? Can you even be sick of World of Warcraft? Well, maybe not, but hey, there is one creature that can lift you off your chair and unglue your eyes from the monitor, your lovely friend, your dog. So, for your sake and for theirs, ditch the computer for a few hours each day and have some much needed 3D fun with your pup. We guarantee that you will both feel energized and ready for new conquests!
Since both you and your doggo NEED to work out (or at least have any kind of physical activity), why not go cycling? It’s definitely more fun than running, you can cover more ground, and you can explore new places that you might not find on a simple run. Cycling is great for people of all ages, and dogs love it! Of course, your dog won’t be the one who pedals, but they will nonetheless use up all that extra energy and will be super happy that they get to run as fast as their heart's desire!
What is this strange word, geocaching is it? Why yes, geocaching is super fun, stimulates the brain, and most of all, gives you some much needed exercise. As a gamer, you sit in your chair all day long, and that is perfectly fine, however, you must include some form of physical activity each day to avoid many health problems that sitting causes. Not only that, but your doggo needs their fun too! So, why not try geocaching? This is a fun activity in which you would use GPS or other methods to search for hidden containers called caches. When you find a cache, you will find a logbook inside it which you will sign and put back where it belongs, and optionally, add small trinkets that will make the next geocacher happy! Best of all, your doggo can be your faithful companion on this adventure, and help locate the caches, all while getting the exercise they need!
A gamer such as you loves a challenge, and that is also the case with your furry friend. The little brain games will not only freshen up their mind, but also raise their competitive spirit, and make them think clearer. Moreover, these games will strengthen the bond between the two of you. So, a simple treasure hunt can be a perfect activity for you two! How does it work? Very simple. Hide the toys, treats, or any other trinkets you can think of and have your dog search for them. Make sure to include a lot of praise and love whenever they manage to find the hidden piece. You can play this game indoors or outdoors, the world is your hiding ground!
Instead of taking a normal walk, try spicing things up a bit. Start with strolling, then move on to speed walking, then to light walking, then running! Switch things up as you go and your dog will love the unpredictability of your actions. Bonus points if you do all this on the beach – it is much harder to run on the sand!
Once a week (or more!) why not go out for a swim? If you have a dog-friendly pool in your neighborhood – amazing, go there and have some fun! If not, rivers or the sea will do just fine. Just make sure you don’t go too far, you don’t want anything bad to happen!
