Introduction

Hunting breeds are not rare. There are many different kinds of hunting breeds because our ancestors needed a little help catching their food sometimes. Although there are many different hunting breeds, not all of them caught the eye of nobility. But the Polish Hound looks like a noble, so the Polish nobles adopted them into their ranks so that they would have the noblest hunting parties in the world. Do not think that this means that the Polish Hound is only good for making your place look more distinguished, these hounds were bred to hunt in the harshest environments, and have fun while doing so.

Drill
Rubber ball
Wire coat hanger
2 feet of surgical tubing
Water for hydration
Activity description
Fetch is fun. It is a classic game. But it can get a little boring and the two of you will end up doing something else in no time. Thankfully, there are ways for you to jazz up an old game and make it a little more exciting. Most pet stores sell a slingshot of some sort that you can use to launch a ball further than you can throw it, causing your excited dog to chase after it at lightning fast speed. If your local pet stores don't sell them, then you could always make one from some old stuff lying around the house. For this activity, we will show you how to make your own fun launchable ball to play fetch with.
Step
1
Drill a hole
Drill a hole through your rubber ball. Bake sure that the hole is wide enough to for the surgical tubing to fit through. This is important since you need the tubing to fit through the hole that you drilled.
Step
2
Use the hanger
Cut the hanger and fold it in half. Now, you are going to use the hanger to pull the tube through the ball. Do this with both sides so that the tubing forms a sort of loop. Tie the ends so that the ball does not come loose when you try to launch it.
Step
3
Launch!
Your only job is to pull back on the loop and aim. This slingshot ball will fly a few hundred meters, and your dog will go crazy for it. This activity will help to burn through a lot of their energy and it will soon become one of their favorite toys.

PVC pipes and ends
Activity description
This is another DIY project, but it will serve to stimulate your dog mentally. Don't worry too much if you don't know a lot about PVC pipes and ends, just go down to your local hardware store, you will soon figure it all out. It would also be best to choose small treats that will fit into the pipe, or you can break up your treats. The problem is that we do not get as much time to spend with our dogs as we would like, so we need to keep them occupied when we are busy or away or else they will get destructive. This fun and easy to build toy will keep them so busy while you're attending to chores that they won't even notice you're gone!
Step
1
Choose different pipes and ends
PVC pipes come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. The ends also have different shapes. You can go wild choosing different sizes, lengths and shapes. Get creative with it. Thankfully, PVC tends to be inexpensive so you won't have to worry too much about your budget.
Step
2
Cut and drill
Once you have purchased the pipe, you will need to cut it to the desired shape. You can make it as long or as short as you want to. Drill one or two holes in the pipe. These holes aren't meant to let the treats out, so do not make them too big.
Step
3
Finish the puzzle
Put a handful of treats into the pipe and put the ends on the pipe. The puzzle is now complete! You can give it to your dog and watch them try and figure out how to get the treats out of the pipe. It will take them a while and the PVC pipe will not break easily, no matter how much they gnaw!

Activity description
You look stressed. When is the last time you relaxed? Not took a nap or watched TV, but actually did something relaxing? You need a massage, and so does your dog. Why? We like to ask why not. Pet spas are becoming more and more common and you might be surprised to find one in your area. Not only will this relax you, but your dog deserves to be pampered too. A Polish Hound deserves the royal treatment from time to time. You might not be nobility, but at least you don't make your dog hunt during the harsh winter months. Unless you do, in which case your dog really needs a massage.
Step
1
Research
This is the part where you take out your electronic device and find the nearest pet spa in your area. Most pet spas allow human owners to be pampered too, but others cater exclusively to pets. If you want this to be a bonding experience, find a spa that will do both.
Step
2
Preparation
You know your dog better than anyone. Will they be okay letting someone groom and massage them? Are they trained not to cause too much havoc in public? If the answer to these questions is no, then you might need to train your dog to be alright in these types of situations.
Step
3
Relaxation
You made it. And most of all, both of you deserve it. It is up to you to decide how much pampering gets done, but be sure to get a paw-dicure too. Now that you're relaxed, you need to look the part too. Besides, your Hound's ancestors were part of the nobility at some point.

Learn A New Trick

Sometimes you do not have to do big things or be super creative to have a good time. All you need to do is teach your dog a new trick to have a blast. You both will have fun and it will keep your dog entertained for a little while. When things get dull, learn a new trick.

Dress Up!

As we mentioned before., Polish Hounds have a regal bearing. Why not have fun with that and dress them up? Not only will you be getting a bunch of fun photo opportunities, but it will be amusing to see what kind of costumes you can come up with. Maybe you could even have a pet costume party!

Conclusion

Polish Hounds were renowned for their endurance in harsh winter conditions. They would never give up once they were on the hunt, and they looked dashing while they were dashing. Nowadays, they get bored easily due to the lack of hostile environments. You need to keep them busy, so let them run after a launchable ball you just made, or gnaw on some pipes to keep their brains active. And once they're done with all that, they deserve a good spa day. There's nothing like relaxing and getting your paws all done up. Your noble dog deserves some royal treatment since they treat you like the King/Queen that you are.
