Prepare for unexpected vet bills
When your Sealydale Terrier is young, begin teaching them to swim. Grab a swim vest, and start much the same as you would with a child. Hold the pooch underneath, and allow the dog to float and kick as you support them. Make sure that they are using both their front feet and back feet to paddle. Practice in the shallow end of the pool until you feel your pup is ready to swim on their own.
The stamina which the Sealydale Terrier possesses makes them a great candidate for hiking, and it also makes them prime companions for long walks. You can choose to walk in your neighborhood, or you may enjoy taking the pooch to the local dog park and enjoying the walking track there.
