Bolonka-Poo
The tiny Tsvetnaya Blonka-Poo is a hybrid designer dog made from the Toy or Miniature Poodle and the Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka. This dog is a great family pet but because they are so small, it is easy for them to get hurt so you should watch them carefully around children. The Tsvetnaya Blonka-Poo is affectionate and loyal but never aggressive and because of this, they do not make great guard dogs. However, they will alert you to strangers and threats with their loud bark. They were bred to be lap dogs; they love attention and cuddling with you but they also need to get some exercise every day to stay healthy.

Tsvetnaya Blonka-Poo Breed History

The Tsvetnaya Blonka-Poo is a rare designer dog that has not been around very long, so you need to look at the histories of the Poodle and the Russian Tsvetnava Bolonka to determine the background of this breed. The Poodle is one of the most ancient dog breeds that originated in Germany but was perfected in France. There are three types, which include the Standard, Miniature, and Toy. The Toy is the smallest and only reaches up to 10 pounds, the Miniature can grow to about 15 pounds, and the Standard Poodle ranges from 45 to 65 pounds. They were bred to be hunting dogs and are thought to be related to the German, Portuguese, French, Hungarian, and Russian Water dogs as well as the North African Barbet. Other experts believe the Poodle is a descendent of the Asian Herding dog that travelled with the German Goth and Ostrogoth tribes. Another group claims that the breed was found on Roman artifacts from Egyptian tombs dating back to the first century. The smaller sizes were introduced in the 15th century by mating smaller Poodles to impress the middle-class Parisians. They were typically used for hunting ducks and truffles as well as being a wonderful family pet. The American Kennel Club registered the breed in 1887 and they are the 7th most well-liked breed in America. The Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka is a rare breed that got its name from the country it came from when it originated in the 1700s. This little bundle of fur was bred from the French Bolognese, Pekingese, Shih-Tzu, Bichon Frise, and Toy Poodle to be a companion pet. In fact, the name Bolonka means companion dog. The breed started to become popular in other countries in 1978 but was just accepted to the Foundation Stock Service of the American Kennel Club in 2015. This is the first step in becoming a registered breed.

Tsvetnaya Blonka-Poo Breed Maintenance

Tsvetnaya Blonka-Poo dogs need to be brushed every day to prevent excessive tangling and to keep your dog’s coat healthy. With such a thick and silky coat, the Tsvetnaya Blonka-Poo has a tendency to get matted easily and will need careful grooming with a high-quality metal comb, a hard bristle brush, and a dematting tool. You should also bathe her once or twice a month with detangling shampoo and conditioner to keep her fur easy to manage. At this time, you should clean her ears and check them for redness or wax build-up. In addition, your dog’s toenails need to be trimmed regularly to prevent splitting and cracking. The teeth and gums will have a better chance of remaining in good condition with a brushing done three or four times a week.

Tsvetnaya Blonka-Poo Temperament

Your Tsvetnaya Blonka-Poo is a lap dog that enjoys sleeping in your lap and in your bed with you at night. In fact, they tend to want to be around you constantly and may not like being left alone, so be sure to spend plenty of time with her when you are at home. This is an intelligent breed that can learn quickly and because of this, training them is usually pretty easy but some owners have claimed that these dogs are hard to potty train. In fact, many owners end up using puppy pads for their dogs on a regular basis but with the right training, your dog should be able to learn to do the right thing. This hybrid gets along well with other animals and people, though should be given plenty of chances to interact with others as some dogs may become snappish if socialization is neglected.

Tsvetnaya Blonka-Poo Activity Requirements

The Tsvetnaya Blonka-Poo is a lap dog but also has Poodle genes, which means they need to run around and get plenty of exercise every day. In fact, you should provide at least 45 minutes to an hour of vigorous activity such as playing fetch, going for walks, and playing with other dogs at the dog park. This feisty hybrid will even enjoy swimming and hiking. Since your dog is so small, you can provide much of her exercise indoors if the weather is bad but they should get outdoors at least a few times a day regardless. Dogs that do not get enough exercise may become overweight and may even get depressed or bored.
